In 2019, with the Change project, Terratinta Group launched a strategic approach towards sustainability.
From the very beginning, change began in the company, with the small measurable steps and concrete actions that the entire team committed to taking, eliminating the use of plastic, reducing paper printouts and participating in community volunteering.

When a company decides to become a Benefit Company, it highlights, by changing its juridical form and its Statute, its commitment to operate not only with the economic profit in mind, but also for the good of the community and the Planet. Even before it began its journey to become a B Corp, Terratinta Group became a Benefit Company in 2020, declaring its purpose to be for the good of the community.

In 2020 we wanted to reinforce our commitment and make our corporate approach to sustainability a more integrated part of our business operations. We analysed our sustainability performance across the board, formalised the challenge of sustainable value creation at a statutory level and developed a roadmap of precise improvement targets (still ongoing and evolving).
In 2022, we achieved our first objective: after a long and rigorous verification process, we became a B Corp. Companies that achieve this certification are the most advanced in terms of positive social and environmental impact. They form a global movement of companies that are committed to measuring and considering their environmental and social performance with the same attention traditionally paid to economic performance, and who believe in business as a positive force that strives to produce value for biodiversity and society.

Terratinta Group has updated its business practices with a view to sustainability, rethinking its daily actions with a view to circularity, as part of its path towards the future. This is why every year since 2020 the company has drawn up a document that transparently and in detail reports the results achieved, the initiatives undertaken and the plans for the future, to share with its stakeholders the path towards the future for continuous improvement.
